This advanced resuscitation course teaches a provider's critical actions during an adult cardiac arrest during the first 10 minutes. This program highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, care systems, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS). You will learn the immediate actions, including adult BLS, when a patient enters cardiac arrest. This is a common credential required by most facilities.

Contact hours (nursing): 15.5 continuing nursing education hours are awarded upon successful ACLS program completion.
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider #CEP17561) and Florida Board of Nursing (Provider #50-24286) for 15.5 Contact Hours.
An additional 6.5 contact hours are awarded for completing the ECG & Emergency Pharmacology Course). Up to 22 contact hours can be earned!
Required AHA textbook
The AHA has updated its programs to the new 2020 guidelines. Therefore, each student attending one of their programs MUST order an up-to-date (2020) textbook. The AHA does not permit the loaning of textbooks. Please note that these are the AHA rules/policies, and as one of their training entities, we're required to follow their policies to continue offering their programs. In short, it is required that you have your own copy of the course textbook (the textbook cannot be loaned or rented from anyone), and you must bring the textbook with you to the course.
The good news is that this new 2020 textbook will last you until the 2025 guidelines are released.

You can renew your BLS simultaneously with your ACLS or PALS.
This keeps your cards on the same renewal cycle, and it will save you from scheduling multiple courses on multiple dates.
