The online course must be completed before attending the skills session, and the online completion certificate must be brought to class. (Access to the online course is emailed 1-2 business days after registration.)
This is the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers ("CPR"). This course is specifically designed for medical professionals and students in healthcare programs.

This program uses a Blended Learning format:
Target Audience: All healthcare providers requiring BLS for their scope of practice. This includes MDs, RNs, NPs, PAs, and Paramedics. Additionally, this course is accepted for entry into Nursing and Medical schools as skills are verified in person by an AHA Instructor.

Course Duration:
Q: What is the format of this BLS course? A: This is a blended learning course. You must complete the online Part I at your own pace before attending the in-person skills session (Parts II & III).
Q: When will I receive my online access link? A: Immediately after registration, you will receive a link in your account to complete the online portion.
Q: What happens if I forget my certificate? A: Per AHA guidelines, we are not permitted to admit you to the skills session without your Online Course Completion Certificate.
Q: Is this course for initial certification or renewal? A: This course is valid for both initial certification and renewal, as all students complete the same comprehensive online and skills testing requirements.
Q: How long is my certification valid? A: Upon successful completion, you will receive an AHA BLS Provider eCard valid for two years.
