This program will provide a solid foundational review with regards to skin & wound care. At the end of this presentation, the participant will be able to describe the pathophysiology of skin integrity, differentiate between various wound classifications, discuss different preventative & treatment modalities; describe the implications of nutrition concerning wound & skin care, and more… Although this presentation centers around a foundational review of wound care, it will review current practice updates and recommendations.
